Shoal Brook Lodge:BDP Enterprises owns & operates 2 commercial hunting camps in Northern Newfoundland,one at Shoal Brook Pond & the other at Dunn Hill Pond.Shoal Brook Lodge: is located approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Roddington & is accessible by road access.The camp is in moose hunting area 40 & has an allocation of 16 moose hunting permits & 10 black bear permits.The lake also provides some good trout fishing.The lodge is built on crown land with the option to purchase.There is .3861 hectares of land.Dept of Health approved sewage system is installed.There is 4.5 kms of private road. Ropsons Lodge: The other lodge is a fly in location,27 kms south of Roddington,15 minutes by float plane.The camp is in area 39A & caribou area 69.There is an allocation here purchased from another outfitter for 19 moose & 2 caribou.The land here falls under a commercial outfitters lease & a user fee of $500.00 annually.
